Air Force Academy Mwr - WE. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. The US Air Force Academy is reopening some bases. The academy will also lift restrictions on official businesses from Monday.
This means that DoD ID card holders have access to the base, however, services and Ethics, Wellness, and Recreation (MWR) may be limited and/or restricted.

Simmons Support Olympic Athletes
Exchange and commission purchases are open to all beneficiaries. Shopping hours for eligible users who live or work at the Academy are open from noon to noon daily. All beneficiaries can shop from noon until closing.
The Eisenhower Golf Course is open to eligible DoD cardholders. Golfers must book their tournament times and pay online and bring their own equipment. "Walk in" and the use of golf carts are prohibited. The tavern and snack bar are still closed.
The Community Fitness Center is open only to active duty members who live or work at the Academy, with limited exercise for cardio and weightlifting equipment. There will be a limited number of people allowed in the gym and face masks will be required. Access to the swimming pool, basketball court, sauna, shower and gym is still closed.
The outdoor entertainment rental office will be open for equipment rental only. All reservations must be made by phone or online. Employees and sponsors must wear face masks and follow all Covid-19 social distancing measures. The staff will carry out a daily cleaning of all the equipment before and after the rental.
Military Golf Continues To Thrive At Many Underrated Courses
Arts & Crafts will reopen for regular pick-and-drop orders and will reopen the studio by appointment only. Employees and sponsors must wear face masks and follow COVID-19 social distancing measures.
Auto Skills Auto and manual wash booths are open during normal service hours. Stands for personal projects / hobbies will be reserved by appointment only. Staff and sponsors will be required to wear face masks and follow COVID-19 social distancing measures. Employees will also carry out the daily cleaning of borrowed equipment.
Famcamp will open 60/20 RV campsites for those with reservations and existing personnel making permanent transfers from resorts inside or outside USAFA. Bathrooms and showers will remain closed with appropriate signage and instructions to guests prior to arrival. Very few staff will be on site for garbage collection.
The Farish Leisure Center will be open for camping by reservation only. Staff and sponsors will be required to wear face masks and follow COVID-19 social distancing measures. The staff will also provide daily cleaning of the cabin. The regular shower and bathroom are still closed.

The equestrian center is always open for equestrian care. The rental office will be open during normal hours to facilitate travel by car. Road driving is by reservation only. The center will also be open to the Reassembly Fund.
Additionally, the base's north gate is open to all DoD cardholders Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The academy is still closed to visitors.
